Maynooth Sustainable Energy Community
Maynooth Sustainable Energy Community is a community-based voluntary group operating since 2018. Our aim is to enable the people of Maynooth to enjoy a more sustainable energy future and become an exemplar of a sustainable town providing a safe, clean energy future for our children and grandchildren.
We work towards our objectives in a unique four-way collaboration together with the Maynooth Community, Kildare County Council, Maynooth University and our business community. We are proud of many accomplishments since our foundation.
An Nuadha Players
Our community theatre group An Nuadha Players will chat with anyone who might like to join them or attend their upcoming summer show The Lady in the van!
Zero Waste
We are delighted to have Zero Waste ladies swap shop attend our Picnic in the Park event on June 16th come chat to them about sustainable fashion on the day!!

Gaeilge Nuada
Gaeilge Nuada is a community group established to promote the Irish language and culture in the Maynooth Area. We run weekly conversation and coffee mornings, monthly popup gaeltachtaí and club (book club, comhrá, ceoil), and yearly events such as our Lá Teaghlaigh.
Young Life Maynooth
Young Life Maynooth will have outdoor games and information on their organisation.
